Accountable

As an educational charity, we want you and every member of the public to know as much as possible about how Pacific Buddhist Academy operates and how carefully and effectively we use your donations.

We hold ourselves accountable to the students we’ve been given the responsibility to educate and to their families who have placed their trust in us, to you--our donors, who are committed to fostering peace, and to the public that receives the benefits of the educational services we provide.  We seek to make use of every dollar donated to PBA with careful attention to effectiveness and efficiency.

Efficient and Effective

Since our inception in 2003, we've grown from a one-classroom school of 12 students to a four-grade institution with an enrollment of sixty-three.  We’ve graduated 72 students, every one of whom has gone on to attend college or university.  In 2012 we will break ground for a new facility of classrooms and a science lab that will allow the school to double enrollment to 120 students. 

We are able to accomplish so much because we make careful use of our resources.  60% of our funding goes directly toward programs and directly benefits the students.  You can be confident that any investment Pacific Buddhist Academy will be put to good use.
