Pali Highway Campus
Pacific Buddhist Academy's main campus is conveniently located at the
base of Pali Highway, right outside downtown Honolulu and in walking
distance from a variety of valuable learning resources including the
State Capital, the State Library, and the Honolulu Academy of Arts. PBA
shares facilities such as a martial arts dojo, gym, pool and science
laboratory with the Hongwanji Missions School and together, the two
schools create a coordinated system of Buddhist education,
pre-kindergarten through grade 12.

PeaceBridge Learning Center
During their fourth and final year, PBA students participate in the
PeaceBridge Project. PeaceBridge is an interdisciplinary, inquiry and
problem-driven curriculum that prepares PBA seniors for college by
engaging them in meaningful work that responds to the real problems and
needs of the community. The program is housed in the Buddhist Study
Center, directly across the street from UH Manoa and is a joint venture
among PBA, UH Manoa and Ryukoku University in Kyoto. The close
proximity of the classroom to the UH campus allows PBA students to
participate actively in university classes and activities. Read more
