7th Annual Lighting Our Way Awards Dinner
The Pacific Buddhist Academy is pleased to announce its 7th Annual Lighting Our Way Awards Dinner to be held on Friday, September 28, 2012, at the Waialae Country Club, 5:30pm No-Host Cocktails, 6:30pm Dinner. The event will feature a silent auction and creative participatory activities led by PBA students and faculty.
The Lighting Our Way event recognizes inspirational individuals and organizations who exemplify the leadership principles and values taught at PBA. Foremost among these principles are compassion and an awareness of the interdependence of all things. This year our honorees include:![]()

Dr. Fujio “Fudge” Matsuda, Former President University of Hawaii
Da Moms, Gay Lesbian Bisexual & Transgender Family Support Group

Individual seats are $150. Table sponsorships (table of 10) are at the following levels: $1,500 Illumination, $3,000 Brilliance, and $5,000 Enlightenment.
All proceeds from the event go to support Pacific Buddhist Academy’s Annual Operating Fund, which makes it possible for the school to continue developing the next generation of compassionate leaders for Hawaii.
