PBA students celebrate at the RSG Religious Seminars.

Owing to its active membership in the Ryukoku Sogo Gakuen (RSG), the federation of Shin Buddhist schools of which Pacific Buddhist Academy is the sole non-Japanese member, PBA students have the opportunity to study abroad in Japan. Each winter up to three PBA students travel for study at Heian High School in Kyoto, Japan, the headquarters city of Shin Buddhism. Each spring, up to three students travel to Kyushu in the Fukuoka Prefecture for study at Keiai Senior High School. And PBA students have also studied at Chikushi Girls School, Gifu Shotoku High School, and Soai Girls School.

In the fall, a delegation of PBA students also travels to Kyoto for the annual Religious Seminars sponsored by the RSG.
